Believe it or not, these were taken Christmas Day before the actual storm hit. Since then, we have gotten at least another foot and a half. Jayden loves to play in the "mountains" of snow outside. While Dan was shoveling Saturday afternoon, Jay was out with him and climbed to the top of the "mountain" and screamed "I'M JOHN THE BAPTIST!!!" The Scripture Scout CD we'd been playing for the kids talked about Christ's birth and then John the Baptist, and Jay loves the song about him being a "wilderness man." I love how he's able to listen to things and then put them together. John the Baptist is an unusual "super hero", I know, but it makes me happy to know he looks up to men of God. He also loves to hear about "Pheephi" (Nephi) and Ammon.
