This is THE tree. Kelsi fell about 20 feet from this tree, landed on her feet, and then pitched forward into a pile of rocks causing her to lose consciousness. So many miracles happened after she fell. That is the only way I can describe it. Heavenly Father definitely had His hand in this. It was an awesome experience to be there at the tree with the family and share the different experiences we had all had and learned from. Only those of us who knew her well before the accident can tell a difference, and it is getting harder every day.
The Life Flight Paramedics told Randy that the flat area just right of the tree was the only place they could have landed the helicopter for about 5 miles every direction. It was about 50 feet from where Kelsi fell.
